Cookies

Updated: 18 October 2026

1. In short

The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and shares nothing with ad networks. It only stores small pieces of data that features you use yourself need in order to work, and counts visits anonymously without cookies.

2. What is stored in your browser

  • NEXT_LOCALE (cookie) — remembers your language once you switch it, so the site opens in the same language next time. Set only after you switch languages, kept for 1 year.
  • Brief draft (local storage) — keeps an unfinished brief so you can come back to it. It never leaves your browser until you send the brief; it is deleted after 7 days or once you send it.
  • Scroll position (session storage) — keeps your place on the page when you switch languages. Deleted when you close the tab.

All of these are set by this website itself (first-party); there are no third-party cookies.

3. Why there is no consent banner

Consent is only required for storing or reading data on your device that isn’t strictly necessary for a service you explicitly ask for (Section 89(3) of the Czech Electronic Communications Act, implementing the ePrivacy Directive). Everything above serves a feature you use yourself, and the visit counting below stores nothing on your device, so no consent is needed. If tools that use cookies are ever added, the site will ask for your consent first.

4. Visit statistics

To see how many people visit the site and which pages they read, I use Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Each visit is counted using a hash of the request that changes every day, so visitors can’t be recognised across days and no profile is built. I only see aggregate numbers: pages, referring sites, countries and device types.

5. External services

Booking a call opens Notion Calendar and the call itself runs in Google Meet. These are separate websites with their own cookie policies; nothing from them is loaded until you open them.

6. How to delete them

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site data. The site will keep working — it will just forget your language choice and any unfinished brief.

How personal data is handled is described in the privacy policy. Questions: hindr.erik@gmail.com.
